SU Law school opening in downtown Baton Rouge!

Powerful afternoon yesterday with SU Law Center Chancellor John Pierre preparing for the start of law school at Southern University's new downtown location next week. The law school will begin offering 5 courses this spring in downtown Baton Rouge. In addition, SU Ag Center Chancellor Bobby Phills' team at the SU Ag Center is developing plans for rooftop gardens on top of the six-story building along with vertical gardens and more. I was blown away to see so many administrators on the top of this building planning for the future, expanding Southern's footprint, and strengthening the educational pipeline. 2017 will truly be exciting!! Big shout out to Dr. Graysen Walles, the CEO of the Mentorship Academy, for making this happen. His high school students will benefit greatly from this new partnership!! Go Jags and Go Sharks!!
