Alex is from Compton, CA and a 1992 graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Arts Education. Currently he is the Founder/Owner of Good Folk Gallery and Project Manager First 5 LA.

Elise is from Carson, CA and graduated in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. She currently works for Lockheed Martin and is the Founder of 558 Scholarship Foundation. 

Cedric is a Baton Rouge native with many relatives that are Southernites. He is a 1981 Magna Cum Laude graduate in Electrical Engineering and is currently a life insurance agent that specializes in retirement planning and  preparation.

​Hattie McFrazier graduated from Southern  University at Baton Rouge, Louisiana in 1970. She is a retired educator in Health and Human Services. She is a strong community advocate with a passion for education, civil rights for all, and a commitment to her community at large.

Ron is a retired Supervisory Auditor for  Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA). He is from Edgard, LA, and a 1967 graduate with a Bachelor of Science Accounting degree.

Marliss Gordon is from Altadena CA, and a 1993 graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology.  Currently she designs, develops and implements risk methodologies to support operational improvements. 

Lena is from Madisonville, LA and graduated in 1966 with a Bachelor of Science Mathematics. She is a retired Orbit Analyst for the Aerospace Corporation located in El Segundo, CA. She is also a retired Adjunct Professor of Mathematics for DeVry University, Long Beach. Currently she serves as Executive Board Member for Carson Chamber of Commerce.

Dianna Cassey graduated from Southern University School of Architecture (SUSA) with a Bachelor’s of Architecture in 1982.

Bill is a retired Regional Director General Electric and Graingers. He graduated in 1970 from the School of Engineering Industrial & Electronics Technology (1970). Bill is from  LeCompte, LA

Michelle is from Carson, CA and graduated in 1992 with a BA in Political Science and MPA-Healthcare Administration in 1994.  
She held various healthcare management positions in Louisiana, California and served as the COO for Healthcare 
Career College.  Currently she serves as a Board Member for Limitless Christian Academy.

A Baton Rouge, LA native, Alicia is a 1994 graduate with a Bachelor of Science Psychology degree. She is the  Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Smokey Note Entertainment, Certified Grief Coach and Author.
